The outward appearance hasn’t changed all that much, but the technology underpinning the new Infiniti G37 coupe is much improved over its G35 predecessor. Just unveiled by Nissan, the new Infiniti G37 coupe sits on the next-generation FM platform, meaning it gets a wider track, a lower center of gravity, and a 36% increase in stiffness. You also get firmer springs, larger sway bars, and 18-inch wheels standard.

As its new name implies, there’s a 3.7-liter engine powering the G37, developing 370 horsepower and 270 lbs-ft of torque. You have the choice of either a six-speed manual or a five-speed sequential gearbox. Topping it all off is an all-new four-wheel active steering system.

No word on price, but they expect to have the first cars in showrooms by the middle of this year.
