Instead, it can draw power from the sun rays, “or if you’re really in pinch, the light from 5 burning candles will suffice.” It takes about 40 minutes of sun exposure to get 20 to 25 minutes of talk time.

The rest of the specs are pretty standard fare with a QVGA display, 1.3 megapixel camera, RAZR-like appearance, and external memory card slot. HTW claims that they will have the solar-powered S116 ready for the Chinese market next month.
