Balling on a budget, that’s what this is. The Nokia 5300 seems to come with all the cool new toys like external music controls and a fun slider form factor, but at just $99.99 after “special offers”, it’s actually affordable. Set to hit T-Mobile dealers nationwide, the XpressMusic phone comes with a 1.3 megapixel camera, 5MB internal memory, microSD expansion, Bluetooth 2.0, miniUSB, and a QVGA TFT-LCD display.
A high-end piece of machinery this certainly is not. In fact, folks that had the opportunity to go hands-on with the 5300 said that it “feels kinda likea toy — very light, rounded edges and almost rubbery.”
