3GSM World Congress is one of the biggest events of the year and a lot of cool stuff flies under the radar, going unnoticed among the hub-bub of all the other gear. Sagem probably isn’t the first name that comes to mind that you think about cell phones but here are a couple of handsets that just may deserve a second glance. The Sagem my200C (top) keeps everything compact at 79×42x21mm, but it boasts “large and fun colors.” Features aren’t the best with just a dual-band radio, 128×128 display, and a “blinking blue LED on the flap.”
The my800C is notably more techie with its shiny front cover, external music controls, and high-speed WCDMA connectivity. The purple highlights are certainly a change of pace as well. Wrapping it up are an integrated MP3 player, stereo Bluetooth, 2 megapixel primary cam, VGA camera for video calls, WAP 2.0, and microSD expansion.
