Mobile Control of Your Front Door

Taking the open-door policy to a whole new level is Waleli, a Dutch wireless startup that can enable you to open your front door even if you’re halfway across the world.

The GSM Doorbell starts with a message to your mobile phone and, if it gets the correct PIN number from you, can even open your door for cleaning staff, delivery people, or even friends and family to enter when you’re not there. You can also talk to your visitors via the attached intercom. Better yet, you can use your mobile to open your door if you lock yourself out.

The GSM Doorbell has been tested in Holland and will be available elsewhere soon. Pricing for Version 2.0 is yet to be determined.
