Indeed, it’s only a fraction larger than a DVD itself, about 16mm thick, yet allows up to 8X DVD-R speeds. The only cord you need is a USB cord, which connects the PX-608CU to your PC, for file transfer and, more importantly, for power. This device needs no batteries or electrical cord slots. It also comes in a handful of versions, each with more functionality than the one before.

The write speed is up to 8X. The read speed is up to 8X on DVDs and up to 24X on CDs.
