This HD video camera from the Fraunhofer Institute really is small. It’s just 4×4x8 (in centimeters, of course, since it’s from Germany), yet it can shoot at 1920×1080 resolution. You can also nudge 60 frames a second, which is remarkable for something so tiny. It also has a Web-control option.

This little baby can fit inside a race car or the helmet of a ski jumper, providing the ultimate in HD sensory experience for fans and family alike.

For the record, the product is titled the MicroHDTV, and you can get up close and personal with it at CeBIT next month. Perhaps then you can appreciate its functionality despite its size. And maybe then you’ll be clamoring for a hi-def TV or computer monitor (or maybe just an upgrade).
