Look what we found bobbing its way around the ol’ FCC offices. Alcatel isn’t all business today, as they’ve got themselves the OT-C820a sliding music phone. Yes, I said “Alcatel” and “music phone” in the same sentence.
In its closed position, you can access most of the main features like answering phone calls, taking pictures, and controlling the integrated media player using the trio of music-centric buttons above the five-way navigator. What’s more, the OT-C820a supports lyrics display, equalizers, and full screen video playback on its 2.0-inch TFT color display. The on-board camera is also capable of recording videos as big as the microSD expansion slot will allow. Other goodies include Bluetooth 2.0 (with A2DP), tri-band GSM radios (850/1800/1900MHz), red backlit keys, WAP mobile web, and flight mode.
No word on pricing.
