Twitter Takes Blogging Mobile: aka Micro-Blogging

So you’re on the road and you want to blog but all you have is a mobile phone. No smartphone? No problem. Just use Twitter.

Twitter is a free web service that turns users’ text messages and IMs into blogs. Just send that SMS to Twitter and let them do the rest. They’ll post it on your own personal blog site and send it to your list of friends and family. In the same way, you can get text updates when your friends’ Twitter sites are updated.

As you’ve probably surmised, you should be aware of how many text messages you get for free each month under your existing mobile plan. Twitter however, is free.
