Diabetes patients can breathe a little easier. A system out of the U.K. from tplusdiabetes.com enables you to input your daily data into your mobile phone and then get instant feedback from a medical organization.

For a connection fee of about US$20 and a monthly fee of the same, you can join the t + diabetes system and have the equivalent of your own personal nurse assigned to you and your data. An example might be a health care professional analyzing your insulin levels and recommending an increase without requiring an office visit.

You don’t need a smartphone; any mobile phone will do. Anything out of the ordinary sounds an alarm, and someone will be in touch right away. Otherwise, you get monthly reports via phone or email.
