Transform your SideKick into an iPhone

I guess T-Mobile (or at least the people who subscribe to it) is a little jealous of the orange splat of a mobile service provider (which is slowly becoming a stylized blue globe). Sure, the SideKick III was the coolest kid on the block when it first hit the market, but now everyone is drooling over the iPhone. Well, Apple’s mobile phone isn’t set to hit the market until June, so in the meantime, you can transform your SideKick into an iPhone, sort of, with this fun little skin.

You don’t get the multi-touch screen or widescreen iPod-ness, but you do get those nifty icons and, uh, not much else. This is basically the same idea behind iPhony for Palm OS devices. The modder did make a ringtone to match, though. The skin can be downloaded here “until Apple sues.”
