Quickoffice v4 launched for Symbian S60 smartphones

Around these parts, we talk a lot about megapixels and megabytes, and how great it is to have a super multimedia machine that can play videos and bust out music, but there are also many among us who actually use their mobile handsets for work and business-related things. While away from your desk, you still want to be productive, and that’s why you just may be interested in the recently launched Quickoffice v4 for Symbian-based smartphones.

They claim that this mobile solution “sets a new standard for Symbian smartphone productivity”, delivering “many features that redefine the standard in mobile office software.” Available now from Quickoffice.com for $49.99, this fourth edition offers an advanced file manager, easy access to updates and upgrades (over-the-air), and support for files being beamed over infrared or Bluetooth.

Quickoffice v4 contains Quickword v4, Quicksheet v4, and Quickpoint v4. I’m sure you can figure what kind of files each of those is associated with.
