Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X spotted in action (Video)

As with most high-powered sports cars, stills just don’t do the all-new Mitsubishi Evo X any sort of justice. That’s why we’re happy to present this video to you with the rally-inspired sports sedan in action. As you recall, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X comes powered by a small, but potent 2.0L engine. Thanks largely to a beefy turbo, this not-so-big powerplant develops oodles of jump. 300 horses worth, in fact (contrary to earlier reports of the car only making 200hp).

As expected, it’s got all-wheel-drive, tearing it up regardless of weather and terrain, and you’ve got to appreciate the ultra aggressive look they decided on for the front end. The video is a little stylized — it is promotional material after all — but it gives you a real good look at the next-gen Evolution. You do have to sit through the first bit where they only talk about the garden variety Lancer though.
