Kingston ships new microSD cards with dual adapters

All these different formats can get terribly confusing very quickly. You’ve got a camera that uses SD cards, a PDA that uses miniSD cards, and a cell phone with microSD expansion. Kill three birds with one stone with this latest offering from Kingston. The prominent flash memory manufacturer is set to ship their 1GB microSD card with not one, but two adapters.

In this way, you can easily shove the microSD card into the miniSD adapter when you need to, and into the full-size SD adapter when that need arises. All three sizes, in a sense, in one tight little package. Of course, it’s got that plastic jewel case thing to store them all too. Now if only they could deal with SDHC cards too…

The full package (Kingston part number # SDC/1GB-2ADP) runs for $40.
