Some may say that the minivan is dead. Ford has have apparently given up on the cause, but not good ol’ Doctor Z. Chrysler invented the modern minivan, and they’re not about to give up on their creation. As such, here are the completely redesigned 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country.
Set to arrive this fall, these fifth-generation minivans feature an “all-new exterior and interior design for a more contemporary appearance,” transforming those people-movers into “family rooms on wheels.” You’ll also notice that the rear captain’s seats can be turned right around — they call this Swivel ‘n Go — and they’ve even got a table that fits in that hole in the ground, completing the family room feel. There are three powertrains (top model is a 4.0L V6 good for 240hp and 253 lbs-ft of torque) and five models to choose from.
