They both come in super fashionable glossy white cases, so why not merge everyone’s favorite dual-screened gamer with Apple’s ubiquitous music player? A happy modder has designed a homebrew program for the Nintendo DS that provides you with an iPod-like music player, complete with fully functional click wheel.

How? Well, you’ll need some sort of homebrew solution (like the DS-Xtreme) and the app which you can get here. Then, the bottom touchscreen takes over the duty of a click wheel, allowing you to navigate through that all too familiar menu interface. The modder is still working on MP3 and OGG compatibility, but the beta version is worth taking a look at.
