For those who really like the ability to expand, there’s the SDIO GPS Receiver from Spectec. You won’t be losing that valuable expansion slot entirely when you plunk in this device, you still get the option to add a micro SD card of up to 2GB. Couple that with a mobile phone and you have a good location device.

The Spectec receiver is WAAS-enabled and carries 20-channel tracking on the SiRF Star III network. It supports Palm OS4 and OS5, Windows CE 5.0, and Pocket PC 2002 and 2003.

Pricing and availability is not known as it still is a pre-order item.
