The FCC is smiling on you E-TEN, happily approving that all-inclusive handheld you have graciously named the Glofish M700 Pocket PC. It’s got WiFi, GPS, and even a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. We first heard about this HTC killer last month, but it didn’t quite make that “ready for Christmas” deadline we heard before. Now that it’s got that FCC stamp, maybe it’ll make a good Valentine’s Day gift.
To recap, you get a plethora of features including Windows Mobile 5.0 (AKU 3.2), quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, 802.11b/g WiFi and that awesome SiRFStar III GPS chipset. You can even avoid that bumper-to-bumper mess thanks to the Traffic Message Channel (TMC). Other goodies include a 2.0 megapixel camera, push email, FM radio, and a Samsung SC3 2442 (400MHz) processor. Too bad there isn’t any 3G.
We’re still waiting on how much the Glofish M700 will cost and whether any GSM provider is going to add it to their lineup.
