Heading out Softbank Japan way is yet another super slim clamshell, this time from our friends at Panasonic. The 705P is anorexic chic at just 14.8mm of girth, but it’s just about as feature-packed as any other RAZR-esque flip phone on the block.

For starters, it comes loaded with a 2.0 megapixel camera, allowing you to preview all those wonderful spur-of-the-moment holiday pictures with Aunt Bessie on its 2.2-inch QVGA display.

There’s a good chance that they’ve included a media player as well for some portable tune action (Auld Lang Syne never sounded so good?), given that there’s a microSD slot for memory expansion. And yes, you’re staying handsfree the whole way with Bluetooth (unless you’re exploiting the one-touch open system).

No word on pricing, but it’s probably not heading State-side anytime soon.
