Now you can enjoy streaming audio, thanks to a new service from QuickPlay Media. Dubbed QuickPlayer, this subscription-based service grants you access to “over 100 audiocasts”.

Among the aural entertainment you’ll have the chance to enjoy are stuff from ABC News and the Wall Street Journal (with the latter, it’s almost like you’re working, right?). These news-related podcasts are expected to be five to seven minutes long each.

The program will run on the 7130e, 8700 series, and the Pearl. Price is $7.96 per month, plus whatever data charges you’d be paying normally.
