Taking the Ford GTX1 for a road test (Video)

I really enjoy watching Top Gear, and Jeremy Clarkson has got to be one of the best gearhead TV personalities out there. For this latest edition, Clarkson hits up the test track with the Ford GTX1, which is essentially the convertible variant of the Ford GT supercar. “But there’s a bit more to it than that.”

They’ve also improved the handling with a lowered ride, and dialed the engine up to a formdible 700 horsepower. This truly is a fantastic vehicle to behold and Ford has done a great job in minimizing wind noise. In fact, “the shape and flow allows a person to drive full speed with so little wind coming into the passenger area.” American muscle at its absolute best.

And that exhaust. Oh man.
