No, that’s not the latest smartphone from Nokia. It’s smart, but it can’t let you call your friends any time of the day or night. What it can do, however, is settle those friendly arguments that naturally arise over Scrabble.

Yes, the vocabulary-testing board game now has an electronic dictionary. It has a full QWERTY keyboard, and a scroll wheel controls the screen-based menus.

The Scrabble Electronic Dictionary can help you with your spelling as well, although it’s that famous Catch-22 of going about finding the definition of all those funky new words your friends or family are coming up with.

The device costs just US$40 and would certainly make a good holiday gift.
