The price for inventive inventing goes to the designers of this mountain bike-powered snow navigation device.

Trekking this thing around in the snow looks like it may be more of a challenge then it’s worth, but if that’s the way you want to spend your snow days, so be it.

The company, KTrak, has set a price of US$300 on the low-end model. Basically what you’re buying is the gearing that allows you to turn your mountain bike into a snowmobile.

They even have a kid-sized version, which will run you US$200.
