eXasis: see-through car

Filed away under Really Cool Designs is this little gem, from Switzerland’s Rinspeed. The eXasis is a motor vehicle made out of translucent high-tech plastic. The really cool part comes in when you factor in the transparency of the base. Yes, you can see right through the outer shell of this automobile, to the innards underneath. You can appreciate the inner workings of the car, which complement its overall design, that of a cigar.

The eXasis burns ethanol and has a 150horsepower engine. It will be shown off at the Geneva Auto Show, which takes place in March. Whether they’ll take my order to have one delivered to my house remains to be seen.
