What’s up with these stranger than strange ads lately? First Sony pulls us until a scary white room with a creepy baby doll to promote their PlayStation 3, and now we get this “Bunny” commercial for the Microsoft Zune. Now, don’t get me wrong. I wasn’t all that much of a fan of the “Welcome to the Social” campaign that they tried earlier, but it seems that Microsoft has taken a completely different direction with the Zune these days.
To recap, they went with claymation for the “endless cookie” and “monster” spots, but for “bunny”, they’ve taken the hand-drawn approach. How does this relate to the Zune again?
Oh, and in case you missed it, they offered a firmware update today too.
