iPhone announcement guaranteed for Monday

Well, that’s just unfair. Some analysts may enjoy venturing an educated guess as to what the highly anticipated Apple iPhone may look like, what kind of features it will have, and how much it will cost, but others are just mean. They claim they know and then they don’t tell anyone, keeping that juicy little secret to themselves like that kid on the block that won’t let you play with his Wii.

The editors at Gizmodo — Brian Lam, specifically — are not guessing that the Apple iPhone will be announced on Monday, they are guaranteeing it with a capital G (for Gizmodo). Is this a last minute holiday gift attempt by Apple? Or does Mr. Lam mean that the iPhone will be announced on a Monday, and not this coming Monday (December 18th) specifically?

Grumble. Yup, just grumble.
