Sony Ericsson W880 “Ai” spotted in the flesh

From what we can gather, the W880 is the follow-up the hugely popular W810i candybar and W850 slider phones, and it apparently adds 3G connectivity into the mix. Check out the pictures below: you’ll notice that the camera on the back has gotten considerably smaller since the W810 days, but there is a very videocall-tastic cam mounted on the front.

This design is a far cry from when we thought the Ai would be RAZR-like in design. The leaked pictures also seem to display not only a black model, but also a very metallic silver one (instead of white).

The rest of the specs on the so-called W880 are still up in the air, but I suspect we’d be getting at least a 2 megapixel shooter, Pro Duo or M2 expansion, and of course that lovely Walkman media player we all know and love.
