You read that right. The buzzings on the interweb — and this includes noteworthy sources like Autoweek — are indicating that Chevrolet will be unveiling the Camaro Convertible concept at the Detroit Auto Show in January. It’s still just a concept, but we are getting that much closer to the 2009 launch date for the all new Camaro Coupe, so the Convertible rendition may be following shortly thereafter (they probably won’t both launch at the same time).
The provided concept sketch — by Popular Hotrodding — is said to be pretty darn close to what a production Chevy Camaro Convertible would look like. Look for more details (and more buzz) in Detroit.
