While we here in North America are still pretty slow in adopting any sort of mobile television solution, catching dramas on the go has become a way of life for many Koreans. Pantech is furthering the T-DMB revolution with their all-new IM-U160, a fashionable slider phone that boasts a 15:9 widescreen display. Clearly designed with mobile TV in mind, the IM-U160 comes with 184MB of internal memory, an integrated antenna, and — of course — that glorious 2.6-inch 260k color QVGA LCD.

The IM-U160 will be sold under the company’s SKY branding, and will bring plenty of other features to the table in addition to mobile TV. These include a 2 megapixel camera with auto focus, PictBridge support, GPS, stereo headphones, an MP3 player, memory card expansion (microSD?), and a touch sensitive keypad with vibration.

Will this be the phone to reverse Pantech’s financial woes? We’ll just have to wait and see like everyone else.
