Lexus, eat your heart out. Your self-parking car isn’t the only thing that knows how to drive itself. Some guy has managed to implement similar technology in a tiny LEGO car. Naturally, they didn’t use just any old LEGO: they went out and got the Mindstorms NXT, but it’s pretty darn cool to see a little toy car park itself.

It’s still got some kinks to iron out (it bumps the other “cars” when getting out of its parking spot), but it won’t take millions of dollars in R&D to do it. The creator says that the self-parking LEGO car “has got an ultrasonic sensor that detects the length of free spaces. Then, when it detects enough space, it makes the necessary movements to park.” And it’s full electric too!
