Some people like it when their devices are rough and tumble, while others prefer something a little more sensitive, more heart-warming. For the latter, there is the Maxfield MAX-IVY MP3 player with its neon blue theme, providing quite the “marvelous” experience. The illuminated nav-pad appears to be touch sensitive, kind of like the LG Chocolate Phone. Now that’s pretty sweet.

And while the glossy black magnesium body looks like it’s going to get mucked up faster than a skating rink, the coating is apparently scratch proof. No video playback here, but you’ll enjoy MP3, WMA, and OGG tunes, along with IRC lyrics and JPEG images on the 1.8-inch display.

The 1GB, 2GB, and 4GB Maxfield MAX-IVY digital audio player are priced respectively at $188, $235, and $335.
