It’s the time of year where it is typically wet, cold and miserable outside. That doesn’t mean that you should leave your favorite music player at home, however. H2O Audio wants to make sure you bring your iPod nano (first or second-gen, doesn’t matter) everywhere you go, revealing their new “outdoor housings” for the super skinny Apple portable.

Now shipping, the new “Outdoor” housing is said to be “sleeker and lighter weight than its waterproof counterpart.” If I read that right, it means that this new protective cover is not waterproof. Instead, it is designed “for the widest range of land-based activities possible.” In this way, it’s great for “snow sports, aerobic workouts, climbing, hiking and bicycling.”

Impact and element resistant, the H2O Audio Outdoor housing for Gen 1 and Gen 2 iPod nanos is available now for $39.98.
