Samsung is back to their Ultra Edition ways, this time not tossing in a number after a moniker, but rather the phone’s key feature. For the Ultra Video, its key selling point is that it doubles a portable movie player, complete with delicious DivX support. This is said to be the first DivX-capable cell phone.
Also known as the F500, the Ultra Video comes with a rockin’ 2.4-inch color display (which can swivel up to create a stand-like effect), a solid 400MB of internal memory, a microSD expansion slot, and a decent but not exactly breathtaking 2-megapixel camera.
File support includes most of the usual suspects, like MPEG-4, H.264, WMV, and AVI. You’ll also notice “that big honking antenna”, meaning it probably does the DMB mobile TV dance too.
