Okay, so we’ve got super skinny cell phones and ultra slim laptops. To get your hands on a ridiculously thin MP3 player, you don’t have to turn to Apple. You see, Cenix has the CMP-M5, a flash-based player that is just 8mm thick. What’s more, it’ll do video (via MPEG, WMV, and AVI using a “separate converting program”) in addition to regular MP3 and WMA audio.

There’s also an image viewer, FM radio, and voice recorder, but what will really catch your attention is that wonderful glowing ring of red that surrounds the click wheel-like navigator.

Cenix sales manager Gi-won Lee is looking to “continue to establish brand image by developing a series of new products in 2007.” Maybe if they make something look different, that’d help.
