Apparently that orange goop of a mascot wants a piece of the mobile video pie as well. You can already stream some multimedia content on your Cingy-powered cell phone, but the service provider is apparently working on a video download service as well.

In this way, this updated version of Cingular Video is not quite the same beast as the YouTube-Verizon deal. Instead, there is a distinct possibility that you’ll be able to receive full-length movie downloads. Moreover, it could very well be 3G-only. Stay tuned for more as it develops.
