Gresso opts for “pink gold” for latest high-end cell phone

That crazy cat based out of Russia is at it again. The last time we heard from Gresso (two weeks ago), they revealed a cell phone made of African Blackwood. Maybe they got tired of cutting down trees, but whatever the case, Gresso is back, this time with a cell phone draped in 18 karat pink gold.

It remains to be seen whether this is just vaporware (no one has spotted a Gresso Blackwood candybar in the wild yet), but the golden and wooden variants appear to share the same tri-band GSM guts. If everything holds up, we’re supposed to expect Gresso to make its big (expensive) splash in the marketplace “next year.”
