While clearly a big part of the appeal of a supercar like this is its absolutely astonishing ability to tear up the roads test track at breakneck speeds, another part of the equation is that of exclusivity. You want a high-powered car that goes like stink and you don’t want to see the same car in every driveway in America. You want something like the Ascari KZ1.

They’re limiting production to just 50 units worldwide, so if you happen to be one of the lucky few to get your hands on one of these bad boys, chances are you won’t run into another similarly lucky bloke. Under the hood is an S62 BMW M5 V8 engine, good for 500hp, 405 lbs-ft of torque, and a 0-60 time of 3.9 seconds.

Ascari has been working on the KZ1 since 2000 and it shows. This is a monster of a car and it comes with a monster of a price: $434,471.
