Zune shows no love for Vista

Well, isn’t this ironic. Microsoft’s next-generation media player isn’t compatible with their next-generation operating system. I wonder who’s to blame in Redmond…

And this isn’t even personal conjecture on the part of some random blogger. If you delve deep into the nether regions of the official Zune website, you will find a statement that outright says the current music player does not get along with Vista. We’re told to “check back soon for updates”, but you’ve got to assume that they will release some sort of firmware upgrade (or the like) in time for the official Vista launch in January.

It just seems like the press is getting worse and worse for the poor old Zune, especially after the iPod worshipping/Zune bashing on CNN.
