I have a Sandisk high-speed SD card that, if you flip one side of it open, it reveals a USB connector so that you don’t need a card reader to transfer data. Buffalo is doing something very similar with their latest line of SD cards. When you remove a slim cover off one end, you find a USB connector.

They’re not the first to do this, but it’s certainly nice to have someone else join the USB-loving party. No word on pricing, but we do know that these cards love USB 2.0 and will come in capacities ranging from 256MB to 2GB.
