This MINI’s only in Japan

MINI have done up a limited edition Japan-only Model, the Designer’s choice. The color is the Henry Ford-special basic black, although the roof and wheels are a nice white. It still has that distinctive MINI look to it, of course. And whether you like the word MINI emblazoned on top of your roof for all the world’s satellites to see is up to you.

The manufacturer says that only 300 of the Designer’s choice will be made in all, 100 Coopers and of the 200 Cooper S. The former will sell for 2.8 million yen, or US$24,000+; the latter will go for 3.3 million yen, or US$28,000.
