Sprint now offers the Motorola ic50, an outdoorsy mobile phone that can run on both CDMA and iDEN frequencies, the first such dual-focus model on the popular American cellular network.

You can utilize CDMA roaming as well as Walkie-Talkie mode. The GPS feature is certain to be a popular one, especially paired with the other roaming features, as is the Java Direct Send mode. It also has a speakerphone, which can be quite handy if the phone is clipped to your backpack strap while you’re hiking in the wild.

Not that you’d necessarily use them all in a month, but you get 200 Anytime minutes for just US$29.99.
