Zune Music is free to re-download

Unlike the online store offered through its produce-named competitor, Microsoft is going to allow you to re-download any content you purchase from the Zune Marketplace. What this means is that if your computer happens to crap out on you (it happens, especially if you’re running Windows), you can mosey on over to the Zune Marketplace and get your entire collection back… you know, after you get your computer up and running again. In fact, you can do this at least five times over, and even then, they’ll probably let you do it again if you contact tech support.

Of course, it’s probably easier if you just back up your music yourself, but it’s nice knowing that you have a Plan B in place with your Zune.
