Yahoo and Linksys have teamed up for a cordless phone that has all sorts of friendly features, including plain old voice. That’s not the news, though.

The headline-getting features on this model are (no surprise) the Yahoo Messenger with Voice and VoIP capabilities. The phone actually sits in a USB base station, so you can make and take calls away from the PC. You can also use the web portal’s search engine for things like Yellow Pages, weather, and one-click restaurant search.

Phone and base station can be had for just under US$80.
