Sharp has upgraded two popular MP3 players. The new models are the MP-E200 and the MP-E300.

Memory comes in either 512MB or 1GB, with a miniSD card slot for further expansion. In addition to the music player, which recognizes MP3s, AACs, WMAs, and WMA DRM10s, the new players have an FM radio and FM recording capability. A built-in microphone allows for personal recording as well.

The MP-E200 (US$135) and MP-E300 (US$180) will be available in Japan on November 24.
