Helio keeps telling us to not call them a phone company, but they certainly want you to call. Maybe the next time you hit them up, you’ll want to pick up the Drift, a slider phone from Samsung that has just been officially announced by the MySpace-loving MVNO.

To be available in both black and white variations, the Drift — if you recall — sports a QVGA display, 2 megapixel camera, 128MB internal memory expandable via microSD, EV-DO, a web browser, Bluetooth A2DP, and a “true GPS receiver” complete with Google maps.

Not too bad a deal at just $225.
