Different people look for different features when it comes to buying a new digital camera. Some focus on megapixel counts, others on portability. For those who value ruggedness, there is the FujiFilm BIGJOB HD-3W for, you know, big jobs. More specifically, this tough cookie is “designed for the construction professionals.” It’s waterproof, dustproof, and shock-resistant (up to 70cm, or roughly 2 feet, drops).
As far as the technical specs go, you’ll get a six megapixel shooter, up to ISO 1600, 3x optical zoom, 23MB internal memory, and — as you would probably expect from Fuji — an xD memory card slot. The BIGJOB HD-3W also does VGA video at 30fps. No word on price.
