Satellite radio is fast becoming a thing of convenience, yet the demand for more basic features is still there. Sirius has a new bare-bones plug-and-play receiver for your vehicle of choice, the InV SV2-TK1. It’s about as basic as you can get, with a price to match: US$49.

It has 10 channel presets, which is more than the average FM stereo of old has. Speaking of FM, the InV SV2-TK1 has one of those transmitters as well, a 100-channel version, should you want to return to the FM age. The LCD is a basic three lines, which is all you really need anyway if you’re looking to shell out less than US$50.
