One of Samsung’s newest creations is WiMAX with a twist. It’s a handheld that folds out into something much larger.

Technically, it’s the SPH-P9000 Deluxe. The screen is a full 5 inches wide, and the keyboard is a double-foldout full version. The hard drive space is adequate, at 30GB. Other points of interest are the Bluetooth functionality, MP3 player, and video-on-demand capability.

The one caveat we can relate is that the SPH-P9000 Deluxe was unveiled at the Mobile WiMAX Summit in Seoul just today. That means that it’s a prototype and won’t be available in full until next year and then perhaps only in Korea. Still, it might just be the shape of things to come.
