Limited edition Duke Nukem notebook

Gaming enthusiasts, rejoice! Your Duke Nukem laptop has arrived!

NEC, with a little help from Takara, have come out with a super-powered notebook that has all the firepower you’d want in a run-of-the-mill portable computer and all the window dressing you’d want as a (perhaps closet) Duke Nukem fan.

The RAM is an impressive 1GB, and the ROM tops out at 100GB. The DVD burner is dual-layer, and the display is a rather wide 15.4 inches with a resolution of 1280×800.

Now to the fun stuff: The stickers, wallpaper, and even the layout of the keyboard and surrounding area are straight out of the best-sellling videogame, as is the accompanying Emergency Button. You’ll feel like you’re right in the action.

Because this is a special edition, you’ll need to act fast. NEC says only 300 of the TYPE-NO1 will be manufactured. Pricing is to be US$1,231 or US$1,476, depending on how much memory you want in the end.
