Well, this is usually the case when new technology comes out. People aren’t as interested in the old stuff so they have to drastically reduce the price to grab your attention. Turns out that Apple is slashing the price on the old iPod Shuffle (the glossy white stick) by an average of 66%. What this means is that the 512MB is just $29, whereas a one-gigger will run you $59. Alas, it still lacks a display. Then again, the Shuffle 2G doesn’t have a screen either… but it’s new, and we all love new and shiny things.
